American-born and freshly naturalized Turkish player, Anadolu Efes guard Shane Larkin, suffered an ankle injury during the national cup competition game and will be out for about ten days. He will miss the upcoming Turkey’s EuroBasket qualifiers. This season Larkin averaged 22 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4 assists in 23 EuroLeague matches for Anadolu Efes.
Elgin City (Scotland League Two)
Scottish fourth-tier side Elgin City lost their top scorer, Shane Sutherland, at least until March. Sutherland tore his hamstring in the League Two clash against Cove on Saturday. He has scored 15 goals this season and has been ever-present in 24 league games. Sutherland is also the second-best League Two scorer.
