Tottenham Hotspur announced on Tuesday afternoon that their regular midfielder and Franch national team player, Moussa Sissoko, underwent surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. Sissoko sustained an injury on the New Year Day, in the Premier League clash against Southampton. Tottenham do not expect him to return to training until at least early April, but Spurs could have him back before the end of the season (May, 17th).
This term Moussa Sissoko has performed in all six Champions League group stage games, but also in 20 Premier League matches, having scored two goals, and having missed just game with Norwich City due to yellow card accumulation
