Spanish La Liga side CA Osasuna lost their best striker for the remainder of the season, as Chimy Ávila suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee on Friday, in the game against Levante (2:0). The Argentinian forward will undergo surgery, and according to the doctors he will out between four and six months.
Chimy Ávila has scored 9 goals this season, in 20 La Liga appearances, which makes him not only club’s top scorer, but also the fourth-best striker in the Spanish top-flight division, behind Messi, Benzema and Suárez.
