England League Two
Crawley Town head coach John Yems signed on Thursday new three-year deal, until the end of the 2022/23 season. Yems appointed in December which is his second spell in this club. Crawley Town is on the 13th place in the England League Two table, with only two losses in 11 games under the charge of John Yems.
Scotland Premiership
Scotland Premier League side Hamilton Academical boss Brian Rice charged on Thursday with ten games ban for breaching Scottish Football Association gambling rules. Rice found guilty for betting from July 2015 until October 2019. He will serve the half of ban straight away, while the remaining five games will be suspended if he doesn’t breach the rules again until summer 2021. Hamilton announced that Guillaume Beuzelin, Rice’s assistant, will take charge of the team.
Scotland Premiership
The Scottish champions Celtic FC confirmed on Thursday that winger Michael Johnston suffered knee ligament damage and will be out for a long term. Johnston has had 11 Premier League appearances this term, with two goals scored.
England Championship
English second-tier side Blackburn Rovers announced during this week that midfielder Joe Rothwell will be absent up to four weeks due to hamstring injury. Rothwell has had 25 appearances this season in 29 Championship rounds.
England League Two
English fourth-tier side Swindon Town secured the services of their best strikers Eoin Doyle and Jerry Yates for the rest of the season. League Two top scorer pair recently left to their parent clubs Bradford City and Rotherham United as they were recalled (click the link for the news about that). Eoin Doyle scored 23 goals in 22 games, and Jerry Yates scored 12 goals in 29 League Two appearances.
