Borussia Dortmund confirmed on Sunday that their winger Julian Brandt sustained an ankle ligament injury during the Friday clash against Bayer Leverkusen. Brandt will surely be out for the next Bundesliga meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt, and it is unsure whether he will be ready for the Champions League first leg against Paris St. Germain. Julian Brandt has participated in all 21 Bundesliga games this term, having scored 3 goals.
Hamburger SV (Germany Bundesliga 2)
Hamburger SV on-loan midfielder Adrian Fein suffered a fracture on the left side of his face. He was injured on Saturday, during the Bundesliga 2 clash against Karlsruher FC, and already on Sunday he underwent an operation. It is not known exactly how long he will be out, but those type of injury can take over a month to be healed. Fein has not missed any of 21 league games this season, and he has scored one goal.
Melbourne Victory (Australia A-League)
Melbourne Victory star winger Robbie Kruse suffered a hamstring tendon injury during the Friday league game against Melbourne City. It is expected that Kruse will be back for sic to wight weeks. Robbie Kruse has recorded 11 A-League appearances this season, with two goals scored.
