The chaos in Marseille has no end. Only a few days after violent scenes at their training ground, when 300 fans attacked training centre, French Ligue 1 side Marseille suspended their manager Andre Villas-Boas after he offered his resignation. Namely, he did it because of the arrival of midfielder Olivier Ntcham from Celtic on transfer deadline day, who has never been on his transfer list. Villas-Boas was furious at the press conference on Tuesday, when he stated that the mentioned transfer was not made by him. The club announced that Portuguese coach has been suspended following critical comments of the club’s transfer policy
It is expected that Villas-Boas will be sacked following a disciplinary proceeding.
At the moment, Marseille sit in ninth place in the Ligue 1 table.
