Colombian international and Liverpool forward Luis Diaz suffered a knee injury in the loss against Arsenal on Sunday. The Reds manager Jürgen Klopp confirmed after the game that Diaz will have a scan to determine the severity of the injury and a scan report confirmed that the 25-year-old winger will be out of the squad for around six to eight weeks. In that period of time, before the World Cup break, Liverpool have ten fixtures, including the visit of Manchester City and a trip to Tottenham, as well as three Champions League clashes, against Rangers, Ajax and Napoli. The only good news for The Reds is that Luis Diaz’s knee injury does not require surgery.
Luis Diaz has scored three times for Liverpool this season, in eight appearances, which makes him the team’s second-top scorer.
