German second-tier club SpVgg Greuther Fürth lost their seventh first-team player due to injury. Left-back Maximilian Wittek suffered an arm fracture during the league clash against Stuttgart on Saturday and undergone surgery on the same evening. It is not known yet how long Wittek won’t be able to play, and this season he has made 20 Bundesliga 2 appearances, scoring 1 goal.
Except Wittek, SpVgg Greuther Fürth curently missing even six more players: Julian Green (14 appearances/4 goals), Marco Meyerhöfer (11/0), Daniel Keita-Ruel (21/6 2nd top scorer), Mergim Mavraj (19/0), Jamie Leweling (14/3) and Marvin Stefaniak (13/0).
