English Premier League side Watford FC decided on Sunday to sack their manager Nigel Pearson with only two games until the end of the season. The decision was made after the league defeat against West Ham United on Friday. Hayden Mullins (Under-23 coach) and Graham Stack will take charge of Watford’s final two games (Manchester City at home and Arsenal away). The Hornets are one place and three points above the relegation zone.
English Championship side Huddersfield Town announced on Sunday that Danny Cowley relieved of his duties as head coach. The team almost secured their Championship status after the win against West Bromwich Albion on Friday, one round before the season end. Huddersfield are three points above the relegation zone and have a significantly better goal difference than their rivals, with one game to play. The name of new manager is not known yet.
