England League Two side Scunthorpe United have announced that head coach Paul Hurst (45) has left the club. The decision was made on Wednesday, the day after the new defeat of the Iron, this time at Northampton (0:3). It was the fifth Scunthorpe game in a row without a win, in all competitions, and the club dropped to the 16th place in the league table.
Paul Hurst was appointed in May 2019, but won only 12 of 38 games in charge of Scunthorpe United. The assistant coach, Chris Doig, has also left the club, and Scunthorpe is without a word of their successors on the bench.
