Wycombe Wanderers, League One promotion chasers, will be without their striker Scott Kashket for at least two months, after England Football Association banned him from all football-related activity till March 21th because of the violation of FA betting rules.
Kashket admitted placing 183 bets on football matches while playing for Leyton Orient (2014-2016). Thereof, 65 bets were in competitions that Leyton Orient was taking part in, with 19 bets on Leyton Orient games themselves.
Kashket is also banned with an additional four months conditional suspension, which will come into effect if he repeats the offense before July 21th 2021. Wycombe Wanderers and Kashket decided not to appeal against the FA decision.
Scott Kashket has had 19 appearances this season for the Chairboys in League One, scoring 4 goals.
