This weekend Croatian 1. HNL continues after the winter break. Two clubs start the second part of the season with new faces on the bench.
Croatian top-flight club Inter Zapresic sacked head coach Samir Toplak on January 4th, and on his place appointed Zeljko Petrovic. Toplak took charge of Inter in 2013, while the club from Zapresic was competing in the second-tier league. Inter Zapresic is on the eighth place of 1. HNL standings, only a point above the relegation zone.
Back in December Igor Tudor replaced Damir Buric on the HNK Hajduk Split bench, despite the club’s second place in the league table. Igor Tudor (41) previously led Udinese Calcio, Galatasaray, Karabükspor and PAOK Salonika. This is his second spell in the club from Split.
