Cosenza Calcio (Italy Serie B)
After five consecutive losses struggling Serie B side Cosenza Calcio decided to sack their head coach Piero Braglia on Monday. The next day the Calabrian club appointed experienced Giuseppe Pillon (63), who previously led a number of Italian clubs, as their new boss. Cosenza is on the 18th place in the Serie B table, three points from the safe zone.
Zenit Saint Petersburg (Basketball EuroLeague)
After six consecutive losses in all competitions Zenit Saint Petersburg on Wednesday parted ways with their head coach Joan Plaza and appointed Spaniard Xavi Pascual, the youngest coach to manage to win the EuroLeague (with Barcelona). Zenit is on the 17th place in the EuroLeague standings, with 7 wins and 17 losses.
