A third-ranked team in England Championship announced today an extension of cooperation with head coach Thomas Frank (46). Danish manager signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract, which means he is now tied to Brentford until 2023. Thomas Frank arrived at the club 2016, as a part of the Dean Smith coaching team, and 2018. was appointed as head coach when Smith left to join Aston Villa. Before coming to England, Frank led Danish top-flight club Brøndby.
This season Brentford FC fight for promotion and have the best defence in the league (conceded 21 goals on 27 games), but it is also the third most efficient in the Championship.
