A huge problem for the European giant. Real Madrid went to Germany to meet RB Leipzig without their two top scorers, Benzema and Valverde. Moreover, there were also no Ceballos, Mariano Díaz and Modrić on the plane ahead of the fifth round of the Champions League. On the other, German side, there won’t be first-choice goalkeeper Gulácsi, along with Klostermann and Laimer, and at the last minute, Halstenberg also dropped out of the squad.

Three more Champions League participants have great injury problems, and only our SUBSCRIBERS can see which clubs it is!

Chelsea traveled to Austria without James and Koulibaly, while hosts, RB Salzburg must play without Fernando and Capaldo, and five more regulars are injury worries, Kameri, Bernardo, Solet, Ulmer and Sucic. Celtic FC have Starfelt, McGregor and Jota on the injury list, while Shakhtar Donetsk is without injured Shved. Besides Phillips and Walker, Manchester City can’t count on suspended Sergio Gomez, while their rival have much more worries, as Özcan is suspended, Dahoud, Bynoe-Gittens and Meunier are injured, and five other regulars are questionable for the clash against “Citizens”: Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro, Reus and Malen.
