FC Barçelona have a new head coach. Quique Setién (61) will take over the team from Ernesto Valverde (55) and will be presented on Tuesday. Regardless of two consecutive La Liga titles under his guidance, Catalon giant have decided to sack Valverde and give the opportunity to Setién, ex Real Betis manager. Cantabrian coach previously led Racing de Santander, Poli Ejido, Logroño, Lugo and Las Palmas.
It is the first time that Catalonians have sacked a head coach in the middle of a season since 2003. Now, it is done despite FC Barçelona is on the top of La Liga.
