FC Bayern Basketball, champion of German BBL, officially announced on Tuesday that Dejan Radonjic (49), after almost two years, is no longer their head coach. The Bavarians and Montenegrin basketball coach terminated their cooperation by agreement.
Bayern Basketball have won two titles under Radonjic’s guidance and this season have perfect domestic league record – 14 wins in 14 games. However, the club management is not satisfied with the results in Euroleague, where they have 6-11 record, with 6 losses in the past 8 matches. Assistant coach Oliver Kostic takes over Bayern Basketball until further notice and will prepare the team for the next Euroleague game on Friday, against CSKA Moscow.
