Head coach Markus Babbel dismissed by Western Sydney Wanderers on Monday, with his team collected only 4 points from the last 10 matches. The beginning of the season did not signal problems for Wanderers, as they achieved three wins and a draw in the first four A-League rounds. Since then, Western Sydney won only one of their 11 games, and club fall to ninth place in the league table.
The German manager became Western Sydney Wanderers head coach in May 2018, having won 6 of 27 matches in his first season, finishing eighth in A-League. The club named Jean-Paul de Marigny as caretaker coach, while begins its search for a permanent coaching solution.
