This is a rare situation where we have this line in Isner’s matches. Usually, the margin is almost always 25.5 games so this makes it instantly valuable to bet. I really don’t know why bookies set it so low for his standards, especially when we have a player like Mischa on the other side. This will be for sure serve oriented tennis match with a low number of break chances. Through their H2H (3-3) Mischa was always able to put Isner through a rough time and in all matches they played very tight sets. In a total of 6 matches, 4 were played in 2 sets and Zverev covered 3 times this margin and they went over 22,5 all 4 times. Simply, Zverev and his style of play are not too good for Isner because Isner likes to play in match-ups where he can establish control of aggression and though Mishca is not super aggressive he has slices that bounce really low. Isner can not attach these shots most of the time due to his height. Also, a high percentage of Mischa’s serves from AD side will go to Isner’s weaker shot, backhand. German has really nice slice serve and he can create upper hand in angles when serving from that side. Points will be short here, Mischa is serve-volley player and Isner ain’t that much of a returner. In all aspects, I see this as a close contest. Isner is nothing special this season, he is 4-6 and Zverev started to pick up in the form in recent tournaments. I expect at least one tie break and with this, the bet will be 90% settled.
