Robert Lewandowski, the top La Liga scorer with 13 goals in 12 league games, will miss the last UEFA Champions League round of the group stage, as he is left to rest due to back pain. FC Barcelona will also miss suspended Busquets, as injured Sergi Roberto, Araújo, Christensen, Depay, Koundé and Eric García against Viktoria Plzen, which is without suspended 2nd top scorer Mosquera and a few other regulars. Club Brugge went to Leverkusen without even three suspended players, Odoi, Onyedika and Sylla, while the German side don’t have suspended Hincapie and injured Azmoun and Aranguiz. FC Porto is still without captain Pepe, but also without a pair of suspended players, David Carmo and Uribe. On the other side, Atlético Madrid will again miss the injured trio, Koke, Marcos Llorente and Lemar.
Bayern München is still without their first-choice goalkeeper Neuer, along with Hernández, Sané, Müller and De Ligt, while Inter Milano is again without Lukaku, who joined Brozović, D’Ambrosio and Handanovič on the sidelines. Olympique Marseille, Tottenham, Sporting Lisboa and Eintracht Frankfurt don’t have a large number of sidelined regulars.
