England are now the odds-on favourites to win Euro 2020 after defeating Germany in the Round of 16 at Wembley.
Gareth Southgate’s team are the only team that are yet to concede a goal in the competition and progressed to the quarter-finals thanks to second-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane.
Their favoured odds is likely boosted thanks to the fact England are on what is perceived to be the nicer side of the draw. By finishing as winners of their group they will not have to face Spain, Italy or Belgium – the three teams with the next best odds – until the final, should they get there.

England take on Ukraine in Rome in their Euro 2020 Quarter-Final on Saturday night, with it being the last of the four fixtures taking place over Friday and Saturday.
The Quarter-Finals kick off on Friday evening with Spain against Switzerland, which is followed by a mouth-watering tie between Belgium and Italy. Saturday’s action opens with Czech Republic versus Denmark before England and Ukraine sign off the last eight.
Should England see off Ukraine, they would then face the winner of Czech Republic and Denmark at Wembley next Wednesday, with two of Spain or Switzerland and Belgium or Italy battling it out in Tuesday’s Semi-Final.
England may never get a more favourable route to a major tournament final than the one currently standing in their way and their talented squad certainly gives credence to their position as favourites.
Spain are second-favourites after putting a disappointing start to the tournament firmly behind them after scoring 10 goals in their last two matches. Luis Enrique’s team are favoured to beat Switzerland on Friday despite the Swiss’ incredible effort against France.
Italy have arguably been the most impressive and consistent team at Euro 2020 so far, winning all four of their games to date. They are third-favourites, though it will be interesting to see how they contend with the challenge of one of the tournament’s top contenders.
For as well as Roberto Mancini’s team have played thus far it would be fair to say they are yet to face a significant challenge having played Turkey, Switzerland, Wales and Austria.
They run into Belgium next who are fourth-favourites, perhaps mostly due to the fact Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard are carrying knocks. Belgium’s aging defence is also a concern as they face what is a vibrant Italy team on Friday night.
Outside of the big four left in it, Denmark are next in line after some impressive performances in their last two games, scoring eight goals in two wins over Russia and Wales. Switzerland and Czech Republic are level after their upset victories over France and Netherlands respectively, with Ukraine the rank outsiders as they face the favourites on Saturday.

Spain – 3/1
Italy – 4/1
