Portuguese giant SL Benfica lost their two players due to injuries. During the Primeira Liga match against Portimonense last Wednesday, Jardel suffered a muscle tear in the posterior region of the left thigh, while Grimaldo sustained an injury to the inner lateral ligament of the left knee. The Brazilian midfielder could be out of action three to four weeks, while the Spanish left-back will probably miss six to eight weeks. Jardel has had 4 league appearances this term for The Eagles, while Grimaldo has made 26 league appearances. Moreover, David Tavares is still positive to COVID-19.
