FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga)
FC Schalke 04 lost two important players for a while due to injuries sustained in the Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday. As the club from Gelsenkirchen confirmed today, defender Jean-Clair Todibo suffered an ankle injury, while Amine Harit sustained ligament damage. At the moment it is not known how long they will be out of service. Todibo arrived this winter from FC Barcelona and made 8 appearances for his new club, while midfielder Harit has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Schalke 04, scoring 7 goals, and he is club’s second top scorer.
Dynamo Dresden (Bundesliga 2)
German second-tier side Dynamo Dresden have another player tested positive for coronavirus. Club’s three matches had to be postponed after three players tested positive for COVID-19 in early May. This is happening at a time when the entire squad is nearing the end of a 14-day quarantine. Dynamo announced that all other members, including the three players who had previously tested positive, had returned negative results in the fifth batch of testing and could begin group training on Saturday.
