After five games without a win, respectively with a single point achieved, struggling Bundesliga side FC Augsburg decided on Monday to sack their head coach Martin Schmidt (52). FC Augsburg have the worst Bundesliga record in 2020, which brought the club to the 14. place in the league table. Schmidt took charge in April 2019, but had only 9 wins in 32 matches in all competitions. FC Augsburg announced on Tuesday that Heiko Herrlich (48) becomes a new first-team head coach.
