A large number of Sunday’s matches in Italy have been postponed because of the danger of the coronavirus. Also, a number of other football games had been postponed on Saturday.
Three Serie A games scheduled for Sunday in the northern Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto are postponed after the deaths of two people infected with the coronavirus. The cancellation ensued by order of the Italian Government. These are Serie A cancelled games: Inter Milan – Sampdoria, Atalanta – Sassuolo and Hellas Verona – Cagliari.
There are five more Serie C matches on Sunday which have been postponed.
