Brooklyn Nets announced on Thursday that their star guard Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of this season, due to surgery of his right shoulder. Irving already missed 26 games this term due to the shoulder, and he averaged 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 20 games this season.

Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard will be out 4-5 more games after he suffered a right groin strain before the All-Star break. This season Lillard averaged 29.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists in 54 NBA League matches.
