Injury news: Hamilton, Stoke, Leipzig, Wigan, Genk

Hamilton Academical (Scotland Premier League)

Hamilton Academical defender Brian Easton could be out for 8 to 12 weeks after dislocating his shoulder in the league clash against Aberdeen on Wednesday. Easton has made 18 Scottish Premier League appearances this season for the Accies.

 

Stoke City (England Championship)

Two Stoke City players suffered injuries during the Championship game against Preston North End on Wednesday. James McClean (27 league appearances, 6 goals, 2nd top scorer) sustained suffered a medial ligament injury in his left knee and could be out several weeks, while Thibaud Verlinden (4 league appearances, back-up player) suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and this season is over for him.

 

RB Leipzig (Germany Bundesliga)

RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams suffered a calf muscle tear and will miss the next two competitive games, against Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) and Tottenham Hotspur (Champions League). Adams has had 5 appearances this season, 4 in 2020.

 

Wigan Athletic (England Championship)

Wigan Athletic defender Antonee Robinson sustained a groin injury, which rules him out for the next two games, against Cardiff City and Millwall. Robinson has missed only 3 of 32 Championship matches this season, and he has scored one goal.

 

Racing Genk (Belgium Pro League)

Celtic loanee Eboue Kouassi, who performs for Belgian top-flight side Racing Genk, sustained a medial ligament injury on the training ground, after only five minutes of action, in his first game for the new club. Kouassi could be back in action in a month.
