After seven league games without a win, Brescia Calcio decided on Wednesday to fire head coach Eugenio Corini, for the second time this season. The first dismissal was in November last year, when his successor was Fabio Grosso, but his engagement lasted only three weeks, after which Corini returned to the Brescia bench.
Brescia Calcio is on the penultimate 19th place in the Italian Serie A table, four points from the safe zone. According to Italian media, Brescia Calcio already reached an agreement with coach Diego Lopez, who will take charge of the team.
