The last year draft number one pick, New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (19), finally debuted in NBA League on Wednesday night against San Antonio Spurs. Williamson missed the first 44 games with a knee injury sustained during preseason.
Zion Williamson started the clash against the Spurs slowly, but exploded in the final quarter, with 17 straight points, hitting all four of his 3-point attempts. The Pelicans failed to win (117:121), and Williamson finished with 22 points (8/11 shooting), 7 rebounds and 3 assists. The next New Orleans NBA league game is on Friday night, when they welcome Denver Nuggets.
