Dallas Mavericks power forward Dwight Powell suffered a right Achilles injury on Tuesday during the game against LA Clippers. Powell will undergo an MRI exam on Wednesday, but it is expected that that kind of injury will end his season.
This is the sixth Powell’s season in the NBA league and also the sixth playing for the Mavs, arriving from Boston in December 2014. This season Dwight Powell in 39 previous matches has averaged 9.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
