After eight games without a win and home defeat against Mafra (0:2) on Saturday, Leixões SC head coach Carlos Pinto left the club. In the last seven Portugal Segunda Liga rounds Leixões have had three losses and four draws, dropping to the tenth place in the table, and before that the club was eliminated from Taca de Portugal. Carlos Pinto arrived at Leixões at the beginning of this season.
Leixões SC named Bruno China, former club’s captain who was in charge of the U-23 team, as temporarily head coach.
