Following poor performances that have led to the club currently sitting in 22nd position of the English National League table, Chesterfield FC announced on Thursday the termination of cooperation with manager John Sheridan (55). Also, the club named John Pemberton as caretaker manager ahead of this Saturday home clash against Sutton United.
Chesterfield FC have only one victory in the last 11 league games. Also, they have the second-worst defence in the National League, with 53 goals conceded on 29 matches.
