Turkish Super lig member Kayserispor face a huge financial crisis. The club is on the 18th place of the league table, with only 10 points after 15 rounds. During December, seven players required contract termination and now they are free agents. These are Emmanuel Adebayor (8 appearances/2 goals this season), Atila Turan (5/0), Adryan Tavares (3/0), Paul Georges Ntep (5/0), Umut Bulut (11/3), Şamil Çinaz (5/0) and Bilal Başacıkoğlu (11/0).
Despite the problems, the club board members believe they can keep major league status. The head coach agrees as well.
– We will fight to the end to stay in the league – said Kayserispor head coach Bülent Uygun.
