Managerial changes in Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain

Torino FC (Italy Serie A)

After four consecutive losses in all competitions, Torino FC announced on Tuesday that they parted ways with their head coach Walter Mazzarri. The Granata are currently 12th in the Italian Serie A. The club appointed Moreno Longo on a contract to the end of the current season.

 

Karlsruher SC (Germany Bundesliga 2)

After five league matches without a win, respectively two losses in the second part of the season, Karlsruher SC decided to separate ways with their head coach Alois Schwartz. Karlsruher is on 17th place of Bundesliga 2 standings, four points from the safe zone. Assistant coach Christian Eichner will be in charge of the team until further notice.

 

AS Livorno (Italy Serie B)

After 11 Serie B games without a win AS Livorno announced on Monday termination of cooperation with their head coach Paolo Tramezzani. For the second time this term in charge of the team will be Roberto Breda, who left the club earlier this season. AS Livorno hold the last place in the Serie B table, ten points from the safe zone.

 

NAC Breda (Netherlands Eerste Divisie)

Peter Hyballa is the new head coach of Netherlands second-tier club NAC Breda. He succeeds interim manager Willem Weijs, who replaced ex-boss Ruud Brood, sacked on New Year’s Day. The German coach was appointed on Monday and signed the contract for a year and a half.

 

Albacete Balompié (Spain La Liga 2)

After six losses in the last seven games in all competitions, Albacete Balompié decided to dismiss head coach Luis Miguel Ramis. Albacete dropped to the relegation zone, in the 19th place of La Liga 2 table. Lucas Alcaraz takes charge of the team as a new boss.

 

Racing Santander (Spain La Liga 2)

The last-placed team in Spanish La Liga 2 decided on Tuesday to part ways with their head coach Cristóbal Parralo. Racing Santander is seven points from the safe zone, with ten matches without a win. There is no decision yet about Parralo’s successor.
