Real Madrid have lost seven of their last nine matches in Europe without their captain, Sergio Ramos, and the defensive line has been a concerning issue for the club in his absence. The Spanish international’s contract will be expired next summer and he will be 35 in March so the club is planning to find a trustworthy replacement for him.
